Vaccinations

Today the Republic of Moldova and most countries in the world use vaccination programs as a foundation for individual and public health safety and security. In our country, the National Immunization Program guarantees free access to immunization for all citizens. The Ministry of Health encourages parents to work with their family doctors to speed up the immunization of children under the National Vaccination Program.

Vaccination is the best way to protect your child from many dangerous diseases. In our country, the mandatory vaccines prevent diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, diseases caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b, pneumococcus, HPV, hepatitis B, measles, rubella and mumps. Vaccines against rotavirus, chickenpox, hepatitis A, meningococcus and flu are also recommended.
