Course program:

• Professional objectives and requirements for performing a pedicure
• Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for running a pedicure room
• Disinfection and sterilization of the room and instruments
• Anatomy and physiology of the sole of the foot
• Nail structure
• Skin structure
• Classification of pedicure types
• Features of pedicure and manicure devices, tools and burs, and their classification. Safety rules for using them.
• Fungal diseases of the skin and toenails
• Non-infectious diseases of the nails and skin of the feet.
• Ingrown toenails: causes, stages, treatment and prevention approaches and methods
• Hyperkeratosis (excessive thickening of the horny layer of the skin of the sole), hyperhidrosis, cracks, calluses

The courses are taught in Romanian and Russian.

A certificate of competence is issued at the end of the course.
