Mesotherapy is a cocktail of injectable vitamins and minerals that has a long-term effect: it fights oxidative stress, densifies the collagen and elastin network through the stimulation provided by hyaluronic acid, and increases the skin's ability to retain water.
Mesotherapy, or the "beauty cocktail", is a non-surgical treatment that involves multiple injections into the dermis of various pharmaceutical products, vitamins and other components. Facial mesotherapy is applied to the face, neck or décolleté; it helps restore skin tone naturally, smooths wrinkles and in some cases enhances the correction of scars and stretch marks. The injections are also applied to the hands, with the same rejuvenating effect. Facial mesotherapy smooths fine lines and boosts skin hydration and the production of elastin and collagen – two components responsible for a fresh, radiant complexion.
A mesotherapy session usually lasts about thirty minutes and includes injections of 0.1 – 0.5 ml, 1-3 cm apart, depending on the area treated. The patient feels light pricks of medium intensity. To reduce this discomfort in very sensitive people, anesthetic creams or ice packs can be used. The recommended course is three sessions in one month and three courses a year.
