Biochemistry tests

A complete biochemical profile is a set of blood tests that assesses the function of the internal organs, measures the body's electrolytes and shows the levels of circulating enzymes. Biochemistry tests are therefore a very effective way to make a diagnosis and get concrete information about our current state of health.

A biochemical blood test analyzes blood sugar levels, the water and electrolyte balance and kidney function. It is recommended as a routine test, for monitoring certain treatments or for diagnosing certain conditions. Blood is taken from a vein in the patient's arm, in the morning, on an empty stomach.
